Key Responsibilities

As a Wing Person, you’ll:

• Facilitate networking and introductions at events, ensuring clients make valuable connections.
• Guide conversations and help create a comfortable environment for attendees.
• Support event organisers by helping them enhance the attendee experience through meaningful interactions.
• Assist with event design or production where necessary, ensuring smooth facilitation and engagement.
• Work with clients who may or may not have a booth, guiding them through networking opportunities and helping them approach potential leads.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for someone who:

• Has a commercial background and understands the importance of networking and relationship-building in a business context.
• Is a Superconnector—someone who naturally builds bridges between people. Superconnectors often have wide, diverse networks across industries. For example, you might introduce a startup founder to an investor or a tech leader to a potential client. Or you can see the dots connect between people and can facilitate introductions with ease.
• Has experience in facilitation, helping groups or individuals engage, participate, and get the most out of their time together.
• Has experience in event production or design, understanding the flow of an event and how to help attendees navigate it.
• Is a kind person who naturally puts others at ease and creates a welcoming atmosphere.
• Is an active LinkedIn user, engaging regularly, building connections, and contributing valuable insights.
